Fleet flat tire cost calculator
A flat isn't just a tire. It's a road call, a truck that isn't earning, and often a tire that's done. Put in your fleet's numbers to see what flats cost you a year, and how many of them sealant would need to prevent to pay for itself.

These are scenarios, not promises. Sealant seals tread punctures; it won't fix sidewall damage, blowouts or a bad bead. Your own records are the best guide to how many of your flats are punctures.
How it's worked out
- Cost of one flat = road call + downtime hours × cost per hour + (share of flats that ruin the tire × tire price).
- Sealant cost per year = tires × ounces per tire × cost per ounce, plus install labor, spread over how long a treatment lasts.
- Break-even = sealant cost per year ÷ cost of one flat. Prevent more flats than that and sealant pays for itself.
