Every sealant brand uses its own dosage formula, and for the same tire they can disagree by 2–3×. Enter your tire size to see each brand's own recommendation side by side.

The formulas
Most brands size the dose from the tire's section width × overall diameter (both in inches), times a factor:

| Slime | 0.065 | driven 45 mph or faster | sourcechecking |
| Slime | 0.12 | under 45 mph | sourcechecking |
| Ride-On | 0.0654 | cars, trucks, trailers | sourcechecking |
| Ride-On | 0.0818 | severe duty (0.0654 x 1.25) | sourcechecking |
| Ride-On | 0.075 | motorcycles (single dose since 2021) | sourcechecking |
| Berryman | 0.04 | normal use | source |
| Berryman | 0.08 | slow-speed use: up to double | source |
| LiQuiTube | ÷ 10 | highway: height × width ÷ 10 | source |
| LiQuiTube | volume | off-road: 3.14 x 3.14 / 35 x (height - 1.2 x sidewall) x (1.2 x sidewall + width) / 2 | source |
- Slime: Slime's own calculator doesn't show its formula; these factors are from Slime retailer copies. Slime measures tread width, which is a little narrower than section width.
- Ride-On: ride-on.com is offline; factors are from Ride-On's own calculator page as indexed by search engines.
LiQuiTube also publishes typical amounts by vehicle type; pick a vehicle to see them. When the two differ, go by the size-based amount.
